Praslin car hire starts on Praslin: the search lists Praslin Airport (PRI), Praslin Ferry Harbour and city delivery. Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) is on Mahé, and a car rental on Mahé is a separate booking.

Why does Praslin need its own rental?
The Seychelles rental conditions prohibit travel outside the car’s home island. A Mahé car is returned on Mahé and a Praslin car on Praslin.
For car rentals on Mahé and Praslin, each booking has its own rental company, voucher, deposit and pickup time. Cancelling or changing one does not change the other.
Which collection details should I confirm?
The booking sets the pickup place, date and time, and the email sent after booking gives the rental company’s contact details. A pickup missed without prior coordination with the rental company or the booking service counts as a late cancellation, and the advance is kept.
The phone number you give at booking, with its country code, must be reachable throughout the rental and on the day before pickup, by phone or by Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram. Service quality claims are not accepted if the renter could not be reached.
How should I compare the available cars?
Each offer shows the total price for your dates, the deposit, the seats and the transmission. Prices are for the dates in the search.
The driver’s minimum age and driving experience are listed on each car’s page and can differ between similar models. If the rental company cannot supply the booked car because of a breakdown, it must provide a car of the same or a higher class on the same terms and price.

A rental can cover the whole Praslin stay or only some of the days. The minimum chargeable period is 24 hours, and a started extra day is charged as a full day.
An extension needs advance notice to the rental agent. A booking cancelled at least 7 days before the rental starts has its advance refunded, less a payment service fee of 6 percent of the amount paid; for luxury cars and convertibles the limit is 30 days, and with the Free cancellation option it is 24 hours.
What can differ from my Mahé booking?
The conditions published for the country are the same on both islands. The licence rule is the same too, and the documents a Seychelles collection asks for apply here. The minimum age, driving experience and accepted payment method are set per car.
The card and deposit rules are set per booking, and each booking states its own card requirement. The deposit is separate from the rental price, and the scope of the car’s insurance is shown in its own offer.
What should I check before driving away?
The car goes back with the fuel level it had at pickup, and a car too dirty to inspect is washed at the renter’s expense.
Standard insurance does not cover the wheels, undercarriage, windscreen or interior. The car may be driven only on paved public roads during your driving days on Praslin. After an insured event you must notify the rental agent immediately and obtain a police report, unless agreed otherwise; otherwise the insurance is cancelled.
How do I arrange the final return?
The return place and time are set in the booking. The search can set a different return place on Praslin.
Missing fuel is charged at the company’s rates, and extra fuel is not refunded. A car too dirty to inspect is washed at the renter’s expense. For a car on Mahé again, a rental arrangement for your Mahé return is a separate booking on Mahé.
